Wishing Star Camping: Rules & Regulations
Welcome to Wishing Star Camping! As a family-owned business proudly operating for the last 25 years, we are dedicated to providing a tranquil, safe, and memorable camping experience for all our guests. Our aim is to foster a serene environment where you can relax, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of nature under the stars.
To ensure everyone has a wonderful stay and to help us preserve our cherished grounds, we kindly ask you to review and adhere to the following rules and regulations. Your cooperation allows everyone to fully enjoy the peace and magic of Wishing Star Camping.

Reservation Policies

Booking Your Stay: While we don't require an upfront deposit or an online booking fee, we do require credit card information to reserve your campsite.

Payment: The full balance for your stay is due upon arrival at the office.

Check-in & Check-out:

Check-in is between 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM. If you anticipate arriving after 9:00 PM, you must notify the office in advance. Reservations will be cancelled if guests have not arrived by 9:00 PM on the scheduled arrival date without prior notification.

Check-out time is 11:00 AM.

Cancellations & Changes:

If you need to change your reservation dates, please call us at least 48 hours before your arrival date. We will be happy to adjust your booking.

No-shows will incur a $50 charge on the credit card provided for the reservation.

No refunds will be issued for early departures.

Campsite Assignment: We guarantee a specific site number with your reservation. Should you wish to change sites once you've arrived, you must obtain authorization from the office first.

Camping Units & Vehicles:

Only one RV camping unit is permitted per site.
-
Camping fees include one RV and one registered vehicle.
-
Any additional vehicles must pay a daily fee of $8.00.
-
Tents are currently not permitted in the park.

General Policies
-
Visitor Access: To maintain the comfort and security of our guests, all visitors must have prior authorization from a registered camper (who must inform the head office). Visitors and their vehicles are subject to park policies but do not pay a fee upon entering the park.

Quiet Hours:
-
Sunday through Thursday: 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM

Friday and Saturday: 12:00 AM (midnight) to 9:00 AM

Please be mindful of your neighbors and keep noise to a minimum during these times.

Noise Levels: Outside of quiet hours, please be considerate of fellow campers and keep noise levels reasonable. Loud music or disruptive activities are not permitted.

Garbage Disposal: All garbage must be placed in trash bags and then deposited in the metal trash bins provided throughout the park. Please do not leave garbage on the ground.

Speed Limit: For the safety of everyone in the park, the maximum speed limit for all vehicles is 10 km/h.

Golf Carts: Golf carts are not permitted in the park, with the exception of those used by park employees for work purposes.

Children's Supervision: Parents are solely responsible for the actions and safety of their children while in the park.

Smoking & Vaping: Smoking and vaping, including cannabis, are prohibited in all public places in the campground and within 9 meters (27 feet) of any public place or building.

Campsite Care: Please keep your campsite and fire pit clean and tidy. Thank you for your cooperation!

Respect for Nature & Property:

Trees, bushes, or shrubbery are not to be cut, removed, or damaged in any manner.

Anyone who deliberately destroys campground property will be held responsible for the damages and will be asked to leave the park immediately without a refund.

Campfires:
-
Campfires must be kept small and contained within designated fire pits.
-
Ensure fires are away from other campers' vehicles, sheds, fences, etc.
-
The smoke should not intentionally enter other campers' RVs.

Fire pits are not allowed to be moved.

Painted, pressure-treated wood, or wood covered in toxic substances are not allowed to be burned.

Always ensure your fire is completely extinguished before leaving your site or going to bed.

Sewer Connections: For RV sites with sewer hook-ups, your drain hose must be connected to the sewer by a rubber gasket with clamps and should not be inserted more than 6 inches into the park sewer system. Please do not flush wipes of any kind or any sanitary products. Only human waste and toilet paper should be put into the toilet.

Laundry Facilities: If you use our laundry facilities, please remove your clothing promptly at the end of the cycle. Clothing should not be left unattended.

Pets:

Pets are allowed in the park under certain conditions: they must be on a leash or in a safe environment in your RV and under supervision.

Leashes should not exceed the limits of your site.
-
Animals should not disturb neighbors' tranquility and should not be left alone in the RV or outside in your absence.

Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up all pet waste immediately and for their pet's actions.

Security of Belongings: We strongly advise you to always lock your RV when you leave the vicinity. Please secure your belongings and lock your valuables, including unattended bicycles.

Prohibited Items: Chinese lanterns and fireworks are strictly prohibited in the park due to safety concerns and to maintain a peaceful environment.
Liability & Enforcement

Disclaimer: Wishing Star Camping does not assume any responsibility for any damage or for any claim brought by a camper or visitor by reason of an accident, a theft, or any other loss that could arise to any client or their property on the park’s premises. Guests camp at their own risk.

Reporting Issues: The comfort and convenience of each client is our commitment. Please do not hesitate to inform management or any staff member of any situation that requires immediate attention.

Infractions: Any and all infractions to these rules and regulations, and to any and all other rules posted in the park, could lead to the immediate expulsion of the client and their RV from Wishing Star Camping without a refund.
